What I mean by a message with two lines in it

Some mail systems have formating sytems that do not actually incorporate explicit lines. Messages are sent as one long line. It is then the responsibility of the software receiving the mail to format the message in whatever way the recipient of the mail desires. The majordomo software wants a true line break between the two lines that serve to form the subscription request. You may ask, "How in the heck do I do that? It seems so complex". Well you are in luck. On the right hand side of your keyboard is a key labeled "Enter". Press that key to cause a new line rather than allowing your mail formatter to simply reformat without actually creating the new line. If you can't get your mail handler to do "the right thing" don't sweat it, but know that I appreciate your trying. Being a list administrator is a rather thankless and tedious job. Anything that you do to help me out make the list better for all.
